Erica Erin Isringhaus is originally from Scottsboro, Alabama. She earned her BFA in sculpture in 2015 at the University of Tampa and her MFA in Art + Technology in 2018 from the University of Florida. At these institutions she developed an art practice focusing on memory, repetition, culture, identity, and monuments. She was awarded a Graduate Fellowship from UF, the highest award offered by the university. In 2016 she was accepted into the New York Arts Practicum for a summer mentorship with artist Taeyoon Choi. Erica is continuing her art practice in Saint Petersburg, FL where she lives with her husband and their two dogs.
